It’s a smooth sail for Dilki
Dilki Fernando, our ‘Cover Girl’ this week, is the upcoming singer in Lanka’s western music scene attached to the band ‘Smooth’. ‘Smooth,’ though it is just two years old, gained a lot of attention from the resorts in the South-West Coast.

This five piece band comprises Sampath Mendis (leader) on bass and vocals, Keerthi Samarasekera on keyvboards and vocals, Maal Alwis on drums and vocals, Manoj Fernando on guitar and vocals and Dilki on lead vocals.

Currently they are performing at Bentota Beach Hotel, Kani Lanka Hotel in Kalutra and Neptune Hotel in Beruwela during the weekend. The band ‘Smooth’ also plays at several leading clubs and casinos in Colombo.
