Top job for Dharshan in Seoul
Dharshan Wijesooriya, the well-known dance instructor and Dance Championship organizer will be in Seoul, Korea to officiate at an International Dancesport Championship.

The Pan Korea Latin American Dancing Federation has invited Dharshan to adjudicate at the 3rd Seoul Cup Asia Superstar Dancesport Championship which will be held on the October 19 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul.

According to Dharshan, this Championship will consist of only the Amateur and Professional events and rated one of the best in this region. The Worlds No. 3 Professional Latin American Dance couple Slavik and Karina will perform at this Championship.

Dharshan has been travelling to many countries to adjudicate during the last few months and to-date he has officiated in 14 International Dancesport Championships. Last week he was in Hong Kong to adjudicate at the 11th Come Dancing Cup Hong Kong Dancesport Championships. Sri Lanka’s leading dance couple Kevin Nugara and Kaushali Tillekeratne competed at this Championship and was placed 4th in the Pre-Amateur event beating many competitors from other countries.

Dharshan is the organizer of the Footwork International Dancesport Championship. In April this year he organized the 1st International Dancesport Championship in Sri Lanka and 25 couples from five countries took part in this Championship. Next year he plans to invite couples from European countries and will include a Professional event as well.

Dharshan will also attend the inaugural meeting of the Asia Pacific Dancesport Federation which will be held in Hong Kong on November 8.
