Clare: Lankan touch for British music
‘Clare’, our cover girl this week is from London. She was visually featured on “Thinking of You” music video by Jason Knight.

Clare, who is a Talented Pianist, now in Sri Lanka for a short holiday with her dad and mum. She has visited Sri Lanka about fifteen times. Her mother Nirmala Hettiarachchi, Sri Lankan, left for London in 1974. There she married an Englishman. She has two daughters, Dinusha who modelled for Purnima in Sri Lanka and Clare.

Clare’s ambition is to become a doctor. “Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with lots of scenic beauty. People are always with smiles and very entertaining. I love to entertain them with piano music. Musically Sri Lanka is much advanced than other Asian countries” she said.

Clare is a top pianist in her school, Sir William Perkins in Surrey. She hails from London. She is more bent on music than fashions though her elder sister loves fashions. “I love to wear local outfits designed by Sri Lankan designers.”she said
