French Corner robbed
The famous dress boutique French Corner's Dehiwela branch was robbed last night by an armed gang, police said.

When the employees of the dress boutique, which was a stone’s throw away from the Dehiwela police station, were about to close shop around 10.30 p.m., the robbers entered and threatened the workers at gunpoint before they got away with the day's collection.

Police last night set up road blocks and launched a massive hunt for the robbers.
