appointment
Brigadier Rizvi Zacky, now Sri Lanka's Defence Attache in Pakistan,
is to be named the Army's Director of Military Intelligence (DMI)
shortly. He is expected to complete his tour of duty in Pakistan
in September.
The
current incumbent, Brigadier Kapila Hendavitharana has been appointed
to a new post - Director General of Military Intelligence (DGMI).
This
new organisation will encompass the intelligence arms of the Army,
Navy, Air Force and will be located in the Joint Operations Headquarters.
