Learn salsa at Bistro Latino
The Bistro Latino, the popular Mexican restaurant, which was just completed a successful year, has set a new trend by creating a Salsa and Latin dance culture in Colombo’s night scene.

The Salsa Thursdays, Fridays and, Saturdays draw experienced dancers, first-timers as well as diners, who just enjoy watching the dancing while having their meal. Bistro also offers the unique opportunity of learning to dance the Salsa, Meringue and other Latin dance forms from a dedicated dance instructor.

Come Tuesday, the Bistro comes alive with the right music to get you dancing the cha cha cha, jive and the lastest addition the Bachata. The atmosphere at the Bistro, as it is popularly refereed to by the regulars, is electric on a Thursday, and the excitement continues through the weekend, beckoning those who like an alternative mode of entertainment combined with a great dining experience.

The regular dinners will also be delighted at the news that new items have been added to the existing menu while old Mexican favourites such as the fajitas, burritos, taco’s and nachos still take pride of place in the menu.

The Bisstro Latino, which was initially opened only for dinner, has now extended the operational hours. It is now open for all day dining from 12.00 pm till late.

And for those who prefer a quiet dinner minus the dancing but with Latin music in the background the recommended days are Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays, when the ambiance is perfect for families with children.

6.30 pm - 7.30 pm daily is the Bistor Happy hour, offering guests a one on one deal on Sangria and draught beer. Plans are also on the pipeline for a crepe and coffee hour from 5.30-6.30 pm from September targeting the aftder-office clientele.

Latin fans for Mexian meal, Spanish nibbles in the form of tapas or the popular signature drinks Margarita or a Sangria along with e chance of dancing Bistro Latino beckons all those with their tag line “Alternative Entertainment for those who want to be different”.
