Lucas at the Library birthday bash
French celebrity DJ Lucas will be performing exclusively at the
Library of TransAsia Hotel from Thursday, September 23 till Thursday
October 30 to celerbate the 19th anniversary of ‘The Library’.
Lucas
Razgallah founded Goosebumps Music in 2002 as an independent label
based in USA. The label opens a new chapter in-house fusion moving
deep into traditional eastern acoustic sounds and the 21st century
electro experience.
Lucas
is the main attraction of the anniversary bash and he will be spinning
specially for the Lankan audience. Lucas started composing music
known as Suntrust in 1998 and produced track after track of major
selling house and lounge music found in some of the world’s
most successful compilation CDs.
Lucas
emerged from the music scene of Southern France in the early 90’s.
He performed in leading French Clubs and lounge bars such as Le
Rex Club, Le Queen, Le Batofard and La Mezzanine de I’ Alcazar,
La Fabrique, Le VIP Room, La Folie Doce, Le Banana Cafe, Trolleybus,
Le Bar du Port in St. Tropez, L’esquinade.
After
playing the Paris and French Riviera night life, he moved on and
discovered other countries, US, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Holland,
UK, Singapore and the Middle East.
Last
September 2003, Suntrust released their first internationally distributed
album by EMI, featuring the house music vocal legend Robert Owens
(the voice heard on 1988 classic ‘Tears’ by Frankie
Knucles, Satoshi Tomiie and “I’ll Be Your Friend’’
produced by David Marales) and up-and-coming voices like Jevon Mac
Glory from Los Angeles.
Lucas’
experience allowed him to introduce the first weekly private parties
for Dubai’s trendy sophisticated elite. The hugely successful
formula he created at the ‘VIP lounge’ at the Hilton
Dubai Creek (M-Level) encouraged many others to follow in his footsteps.
Other
major venues welcomes the ‘’GlamouR” event in
Dubai the likes of Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers, Fairmont, Shangri-La,
Boudoir, Royal Mirage, M-Level at Hilton Dubai Creek, Bice Sky Bar
at Hilton Dubai Jumeriah, Al Bustan Rotana. Of the few partners
that Lucas worked with are Chopard, Donatella Versace, David Lachapelle,
Mercedes, Diesel, Mac, Ebel, Jennifer Lopez.
