Tastes
of Indonesia at ‘Bali’
Bali , the very first authentic Indonesian restaurant in Colombo,

‘Nasi
Goreng’, which is a very popular dish in Sri Lanka is an Indonesian
authentic dish.‘Nasi Goreng’ is fried rice and it comes
in various forms’ chef said. The Indonesians believe that
it is Devi Sri, the Rice Goddess that blessed the 13,000 islands
with fields of rice thereby determining the rhythm of the average
Indonesian’s life and his food habits.
For
over 100 years, with many a country leaving their varied and vast
influences on these islands, Indonesia has evolved a unique and
diverse culinary art - as diverse as its terrain and its people.
