Ananda
make short work of Trinity
Ananda whipped Trinity by an innings and 36 runs in their inter
school match at Asgiriya yesterday.
Trinity
threw the match away with some feeble, weak-kneed batting. A couple
of horrible shots from the front liners could not be condoned.
Ananda's
triumph was built around the efforts of Charith Jayaweera (fast
medium) and Achela Ranasinghe (left arm spin). Opener Boteju took
242 balls to come up with a batting 91, while in form skipper Mahela
Udawatte was more fluent in making 67.
