Pakistan PM due here today
In accordance with SAARC tradition Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz is due to visit Sri Lanka today as the outgoing Chair of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).

Plantation Industries Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa is the minister in attendance for the visiting Prime Minister. The Pakistan PM is scheduled to call on President Chandrika Kumaratunga and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse today.

A banquet arranged by his Sri Lankan counterpart is scheduled for the evening. The large delegation accompanying the visiting Prime Minister includes the three Cabinet ministers in charge of petroleum, railways and power and water, ten senators and members of the National Assembly and Foreign Ministry official including the Foreign Secretary as well as businessmen and senior journalists.
