"Battle of the Blues" golf on Dec. 19
The Old Royalists - Old Thomians golf, will tee off on Dec. 19 at the RCGC. This fellowship golf and get-together has always brought forth tremendous enthusiasm among the "Golden Oldies".

Quite a number of outstanding golfers from both institutions have excelled at the national level. According to Shiran de Soysa, an old Thomian and a live-wire of Sri Lanka golf, "there is keen competition whenever they clashed in any discipline". Last time it ended in tie.

The old Thomians will have the likes of Neil Chanmugam, Kumar Boralessa, David Ponniah (Warden STC), Shiran de Soysa etc. While Royal will take to the greens with some seasoned campaigners - Lalith Ramanayake, Nirmala Ranasinghe, Dr. Manjula Karunaratne, Arjun Fernando, Michael Dias etc., It will be a pleasant (Sunday) for the 'Golden Oldies' drawn from both schools to enjoy.
