Sri
Lanka Motor Show 2005

Sri Lanka Motor Show 2005, jointly organized by the
Ceylon Motor Traders Association and the Classic Car Club of Ceylon,
which is the 5th motor show to be organized, will be held from January
7 to 9, 2005 at the BMICH. The association was founded in 1919 and
is affiliated to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Over a period of
48 years the association has been in the forefront of the development
of the motor industry in Sri Lanka and has always acted in the national
interest.
The
Classic Car Club of Ceylon was founded in July 1993 and during these
11 years, it has grown to be one of the most prestigious clubs in
the motoring field in Sri Lanka.
The
members of the Classic Car Club of Ceylon consist of motoring enthusiasts
who have spent their funds and energy to preserve these masterpieces
to its original standard.
Mana
Jayawardene and Ajith Algama co-chairmen of the motor show have
put in great efforts to make this a successful event. You will get
the rare opportunity to see over 100 classic/vintage cars spread
over the exhibition area. In the two halls inside, the public will
be able to see the development of the motor industry when the members
of the Ceylon Motor Traders Association will display their new generation
vehicles.
In
the outer area, you will be able to see commercial vehicles and
other heavy vehicles, which are franchised by the Ceylon Motor Traders
