‘Lurdu Maniye’ from Vincent de Paul Peiris
Veteran singer Vincent de Paul Peiris of ‘Bicycale’ and ‘Siripade Samanala Kanda’ fame released his latest CD ‘Lurdu Maniye’ (Mother of Lourdes) recently.

The CD comprises of ten new Christian songs. ‘I have ung many Buddhism related songs and this is the very first Christian song CD I have done. It is a sort of vow I have taken while I was in Lourdes, France.” Vincent said.

‘Lurdu Maniye’, Rekawal Duthayaneni’, ‘Minis Sitha’,’Shantha Anthony’, ‘Dev Lopwa Rejina’, ‘Nihanda Rathriye’ are some of the songs in the CD. Ilonka Wahalathanthri and her friends assisted Vincent in singing, while Ranjith Dias directed the Music

Vincent de Paul, Premalal Arsakularatne, Ranjith Dias and Tharindu Arsakularatne creayed music for the lyrics written by Vincent de Paul, Ilonka Wahalathanthri, Hubert Perera and Premalal Aresakularatne.
