Elvis’ birthday bash on SLBC
Tune in to Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation on Sunday, January 9 from 12.30 to 1.00 pm for a special programme in connection with Elvis Presley’s Birth Anniversary.

Each year fans from all over the world gather in thousands to Graceland (the home of Elvis Presley) to celebrate this event in memory of their beloved idol, Elvis Presley, “The Artiste Of The Century”.

‘Anyhow, since we Sri Lankans are still grieving over the devastating calamity that engulfed our motherland, don’t fail to listen to this very special programme’ said the president of official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Sri Lanka.

The programme would be compered by that veteran radio and TV personality, Bevil Palihawadana and Jayaratne Perera, the president of the local Elvis Presley Fan Club will also be featured in this programme.

Elvis was more than a singer, but also a great humanitarian who donated a vast amount of his wealth for the needy and that is why he is still being adored by the millions the world over, the Fan Club says.
