Subanaris
a wealthy landowner lives a simple life. He is much older than his
wife Emyline. Vineetha is his elder daughter while Priyani is the
younger. Vineetha is married to Nihal who works in a private firm
as an accounts clerk. They have a daughter called Ashani who is
four years old. Young Priyani is in love with the village postman
Dayapala. Emyline and Vineetha object to this affair while Nihal
too objects for reasons of his own.
Nihal’s
objectives are to possess the ancestral lands owned by Vineetha’s
family. Priyani who finds the situation distasteful leaves home
marries Dayapala and starts a new life. This makes Subanaris depressed
and he misses his much-loved daughter Priyani.
Nihal’s
plans are realised when Emyline writes the properties in Vineetha’s
name. When Nihal tries to compel Subanaris is to write the lands
in his name, a situation arises where Nihal has to leave home. He
goes back to his village in Galle. Subanaris and Emyline are now
left alone in the ancestral house. Subanaris is depressed as he
misses his much-loved daughter Priyani.
Nihal
forces his wife to sell the land that she got from the mother. As
a result Subanaris and Emyline quarrel and Emyline leaves home.
When Priyani gets to know that her father is all alone at home she
decides to come home with Dayapala, her husband. As the story proceeds

What
will happen when Nihal gets caught to the Tsunami? Who will live
