Interdicted principals face charges

Charge sheets against the interdicted principals, are being issued, detectives said. They said the principals of Ananda, Kingswood, Lalith Athulathmudali Vidyalaya Ratmalana, Kurunegala Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya and Pannala National College are to be served charge-sheets while a charge-sheet had already been served on Minuwangoda Balika Vidyalaya for allegedly not issuing proper receipts for donations.

PIU chief M. Wickremesinghe said the charge sheets were being drafted and would be sent through the Education Ministry. He said the principals would be brought before the Public Services Commission to answer the charges.
