AMRC
to race at night

AMRC is preparing to create another first by conducting
a race meet at the Pannala International Circuit on Saturday December
18th under lights.
Eleven
events will be worked out from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. under the command
of the race Director Bri Ponnambalam. Upali Dissanayake the track
boss is making on - site arrangements which will also include a
musical show that will follow the event and form the back drop for
the prize giving. The car display competition will be a highlight
with many drag racers scheduled to perform their skills and stunts
to add a stylish finale to it all.
AMRC
promises to bring fans to the stand, enforce rules without fear
or favour and attract sponsors with the prime objective of taking
motor racing in Sri Lanka to a new height.
Tickets
at the gate are priced at Rs.50/= for the open stands, while the
center Island will accommodate tickets at Rs. 500/= (entry only)
and Rs.1000/= (entry and dinner) available only at the AMRC office
at 180, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 4. |
