Loku joins Confifi as CEO
Veteran Hotelier Anura Lokuhetty joined Confifi Group as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from May 1. During a career spanning 27 years in the industry, Lokuhetty has spent 24 years with the Confifi Group.

During this period he held several important positions such as Director Operations of the Group, Managing Director of Confifi Engineering, Project Director and the first General Manager of the Eden Hotel, General Manager of Riverina and Palm Garden hotels and others. He has also refurbished several group hotels and many non group hotels.

In this capacity as CEO, he will have overall responsibility of the four hotels in the Group (Eden Resort and Spa, Riverina hotel, Club Palm Garden hotel and Confifi Beach hotel), Confifi Engineering (Pvt) Limited, Confifi Hotel Supplies Limited, Travelanka Limited, Confifi Plantations (Pvt) Limited, and other subsidiary companies.

Lokuhetty returns to Confifi after three years at the Galle Face Hotel as the Director General Manager and the Chief Operating Officer for the GFH Management Company Ltd. During this time he spearheaded the development of the GFH and commenced refurbishment of its South Wing which is now nearing completion. He also overlooked the management and refurbishment of Lihiniya Surf Hotel after it was taken over by Galle Face Hotel Management Company.
