C.W. Mackie parent in merger
The Danish parent firm of C.W. Mackie & Co. Ltd plans to merge with a Swedish firm, the company told the Colombo Stock Exchange.

Denmark's Aarhus United A/S (AU), the majority shareholder of C.W. Mackie & Co. plans to merge with Karlshamns AB of Sweden. This was revealed in an announcement to the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by United International Enterprises Ltd. (UIE), which has a 45.9 percent equity interest in AU.

UIE has announced their plan in co-operation with Melker Schorling, the main shareholder of Karlshamns AB, to work towards a merger between Aarhus United A/S (AU), Denmark and Karlshamns AB, Sweden.
