Draw
for partners
The Register was opened and with a little favouritism
thrown in the rush brought up the required number of 220 players
within a few days. Now it is hoped that the Handicap Committee would
play the rules and draw for partners and starting times.
3
categories
There will be 3 categories in the main competition with
the winner and runner-up in each category chosen to make the trip
to Brisbane, Australia for the regional final. The winners there
will go to Stuttgart, Germany for the Worldwide Final for Mercedes
Trophies. In addition to these categories there will be several
Gymkhana events for handsome DIMO Prizes chosen and handpicked by
Jeevani Pandithage.
Awards
& cocktails
Near sunset the last flight will return to base and crowd
the 19th hole with refreshing camaraderie and when the horizon takes
over the setting sun Bacchus will move in with a haze to create
a joyful atmosphere of fun and friendliness. Further togetherness
will be created when Ranjit and Jeevani Pandithage join in to make
the introductions and prepare for the Award Ceremony, which will
be short and crisp with the couple taking center stage.
