Hills in ‘Rock Company’
Rock Company will stage a mammoth concert on June 25 at the Old Trinity Sports Club, (OTSC) Asgiriya organised by the Rotaract Club of Kandy. For the first time this year Rock fans in Kandy will experience a concert that they have been craving for.

‘Rock in Kandy’ has been specially organised due to the numerous requests the Rock Company received from the fans in Kandy after the successful Rock Company second year anniversary concert and CD launch that was held at the MKOP in April.

‘Rock in Kandy’ is bound to be an absolutely explosive night of entertainment, with local rock greats such Paranoid Earthling, and Tapas from Kandy and Stigmata, Whirlwind, Soul Skinner, Insanity from Colombo in addition to Dylan Jayakody and Anil Balasooriya doing solo acts.

Rock fans in Kandy can expect a variety of favourite cover versions as well as original tracks that are currently creating a revolution in the music arena in Sri Lanka. Even fans from Colombo can take a fun trip to witness ‘Rock in Kandy’ when the ground shattering anthems of Sri Lanka’s pioneers of originality are featured in concert.

Tickets will be priced at rupees 350 at the entrance, while the stunning new Rock Company Compilation 2 CD will be sold for the first time at the venue for Rock fans in Kandy to purchase separately. The CD will be sold at a special rate of Rs. 400 giving the fans an opportunity to grab this CD. Kandy has never failed to draw crowds for all Rock company concerts, which have all been sell-out events on the last three occasions that Rock Company toured the hill capital.

The venue is small and it is advised to get to the OTSC Asgiriya sharp at 7 p.m. to avoid disappointment. So get yourselves ready to run to the hills... when the hills come alive with the sound of rock.
