Disappointed exit
There was a packed crowd to hear the Supreme Court determination on the legality of the P-TOM’s agreement.

Once the ruling was announced, reporters and supporters of the JVP parliamentarians, who were the petitioners in the case, gathered outside the steps pf the Court waiting to meet them. But lurking in the crowd was a disappointed supporter with an orchid garland in hand.

He obviously was waiting for the ruling to go fully in their favour but as this did not happen, the man made a quiet exit, garland in hand.

List of diseases
Outside one of the offices in the Supreme Court premises there is an interesting list of diseases one may contract in the office.

One is called “te lephonemania”-an urge to hang onto a phone for at least an hour at a time and another called “leave-kemia”- the urge to take leave on a regular basis. These seem to be diseases which are common to all government offices, not only to those working in the SC.
