Luksman : Man with many plans
Starting as a journalist attached to old Times of Ceylon, Palitha
Laksman de Silva played the multi roles of writer, photographer
and a sub-editor. Joining Benn Films later he assisted in a number
of teledramas and telefilms.
Next he became an editor in the newspaper titled "Sankalpana".
Later in 1996 with a few others he started "Cartoon House"
where only cartoons were made for various purposes such as advertisements
and dramas. Cartoon House also directed "Ahasin Wetunu Kumaraya
and also has made a large number of commercials. Subsequently he
produced a stage play "Wilapa". "Whatever I did my
main goal is to do a film, one day," said Palitha Laksman.
‘We
are not intending to make this another money making venture by indiscriminate
productions. Our journey is slow but steady." While providing
entertainment our main target is to make entertainment reflect values’
said Palitha.
Plaitha
says that he is willing to help any newcomer with talent. So friends
if you are a good artist or good at writing this is an opportunity
