Shares for Hettigoda employees
Owners of the Hettigoda group, makers of the famous Siddhalepa balm, are planning to allocate shares of the company to its employees under a share option scheme.

“It was my employees who brought this company to where it is today,” says founder Victor Hettigoda, listing the share option scheme as a reward for their efforts. He is currently evaluating the scheme even though the company has not issued any shares so far. “I want to distribute 10 percent of the ownership of this company among the employees of the group,” Dr Hettigoda said.
