Now you too have a place within the nightlights that you can while away your time till the time comes to pick 'em up. Even if your night is not complicated and you are in a mood to go out and generally do not like the jarring music that is dished out at other night spots once again this is right up your street.
Mawby's is the latest night spot that has hit the town, but this has come out with a difference. They dish out a night that is more palatable for the more mature audiences seven days a week.

As the manager of Mawby's Rajiv explained to TV Times, "In fact this is the very first Country and Western theme pub in Sri Lanka. We were toying with this idea for a long time and there were requests from a lot of mature people who really wanted to go out in the evening, but did not have a place to go. We are really looking at an audience which is above 35 years of age as we strictly dig into a country and western theme at this place.

From Sunday to Thursday it is beer and dine along with the Mawby DJ dishing out strict country and western music. During the week-end there is a live band with dancing and a lot of competitions. I think this will be the place for you to while away your time during the week where you can dine and relax with your favourite beverage". If you are interested Mawby restaurant is situated at 112 Bullers Road -adjacent to Duplication Road at the Bambalapitiya end.
