CDB
nurtures Sri Lankan entrepreneurs for 10 years
Ceylinco Development Bank, a member of Ceylinco Consolidated, has
nurtured and helped grow Sri Lankan entrepreneurs in the 10 years
of its existence, the bank said.
Since
its inception in 1995, CDB has been operating as a different development
bank in the country, servicing a spectrum of entrepreneurs ranging
from micro to macro and small and medium enterprise (SME) sector
to corporate. “Our services are extended to cover almost all
sectors of the economy from manufacturing to fisheries, tourism,
plantation, transport and to many other sectors,” the statement
said.
CDB
services are spread over a range of financial services both fee
and fund based including project financing, business loans, leasing,
trade finance/bills discounting, guarantees and money market operations.
The
bank celebrated its 10th anniversary in Colombo in the presence
of customers and staff with Ceylinco Consolidated chairman Lalith
Kotelawala, Mrs S.P.C. Kotelawala and R. Renganathan Deputy Chairman
of CDB gracing the occasion.
The
first two customers of CDB were awarded a full paid tour of Thailand.
The bank has branches in Kandy, Kurunegala, Negombo, Moratuwa and
Kelaniya.
