CBK wants state media to balance Mahinda, Ranil
President Chandrika Kumaratunga has directed heads of state media institutions to give balanced coverage to Presidential candidates Mahinda Rajapakse and Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The directive was given on Friday when the state media bosses were summoned to President’s House. They were also directed to play down coverage on the JVP and the JHU.
