President off to New York
President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga leaves today for New York to attend the UN General Assembly sessions.

The President will be accompanied by Ministers DEW Gunasekera, Pavithra Wanniaarachchi, Deputy Minister Mahinda Amaraweera and CWC leader Arumugam Thondaman. Only state media representatives will be in New York to cover President Kumaratunga’s visit.
