Intel Chairman due
Craig Barrett, Chairman of the board of Intel Corporation, will be visiting Sri Lanka on December 9, his first visit to the country.

The company said in a statement that Dr Barrett, as a leader and a visionary in the ICT industry, will share his insights on how Sri Lanka can utilize ICT to develop into a digital nation, enhance competitiveness, improve the quality of life of its people, attract more foreign investment and become an influential member of an increasingly digital world.

He will meet members of the government, industry and community on the opportunities that have opened up for Sri Lanka with globalization and the role Sri Lanka can play in the digital economy of the 21st century.
