Udaya to India with President
The JHU has nominated Udaya Gammanpila to represent the party as a member of President Mahinda Rajapakse’s delegation during the upcoming official visit to India.

Mr. Gammanpila will bring to the attention of the Indian Government the need to safeguard the unitary status of the country as well as the acts of violence that are being committed by the LTTE under the guise of the CFA.

The decision to send Mr. Gammanpila was taken by the Central Committee of the party, the JHU said. The President is scheduled to visit India from December 27 to 30. It is his first overseas tour after becoming President.
