JVP’s no confidence on Sachchithanandan
The JVP is to move a vote of no confidence on Deputy Chairman of Commitees M. Sachchithanandan. The motion is being moved on the grounds that he travelled to Kilinochchi to take part in events connected with the last rights to the late TNA Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham.

A JVP spokesman told The Sunday Times that the appropriate place to pay the last respects should have been Mr. Pararajasingham’s residence in Batticaloa.
The JVP is of the view that since Mr. Sachchithanandan holds the office of Deputy Chairman of Committees, going to Kilinochchi was inappropriate.
