‘Kiri Kodu Hithata’: Nilar's songs go on the boards
'Kiri Kodu Hithata', a musical evening with songs sung by leading singers in the country to the words of lyricist and announcer Nilar N. Cassim will come alive at BMICH soon.

Dr. W. D. Amaradewa and Dr. A. T. Ariyadasa will be the chief guests for the evening of heart-warming songs, scheduled to be held on February 8, 2006.

The much loved artistes in the Sri Lankan music scene who are listed to perform at 'Kiri Kodu Hithata' are Nanda Malani, Nirosha Virajani, Sunil Edirisinghe, Bathiya-Santhush, Edward Jayakody, Amerasiri Peiris, Kasun Kalhara, Abeywardena Balasuriya, Nelu Adikari, Niranjala Sarojini, Rukantha Gunatillake, Dayan Vitharana, Chandraleka Perera, Champa Kalhari, Asanga Priyamantha, W. D. Ariyasinghe, Janaka Wickremasinghe and Samantha Perera. Jayani Senanayake, Kamal Addararachchi, Sangeetha Weeraratne, Roger Seneviratne, Anarkalee Akarsha and Palitha Silva will enact the songs while dancers Channa Wijeywardena and Upeksha Gangodawila will be the choreographers.
