Real Time on Derana
Derana Sri Lanka's newest entertainment channel is to break new ground in the visual communication industry by being the second television channel to offer REAL TIME web casting of daily programmes.

This innovation will open new doors of opportunity to viewers both in Sri Lanka and overseas, to enjoy 'out of the box' entertainment programming on Derana.
‘Derana believes in taking its communication platform beyond terrestrial transmission boundaries. The channel's initiative to launch REAL TIME web casting is a manifestation of this vision. It was most heartening to note the response from the public’ a spokesman from Derana said.

At a given peak time the Derana web cast was catering to an audience of almost 1000 people. The email response that followed from hundreds of well wishers specially Sri Lankans domiciled abroad touched us with their encouragement and solidarity.
