SLFP annual convention on April 7
The annual convention of the SLFP is scheduled for April 7 when many important issues relating to the party’s future will come under discussion.
Party sources said the convention would be held at Maharagama.

The problems faced by the party will also be discussed at this convention which is the first to be held since Mahinda Rajapaksa was installed as President.

The development programme of the President and the peace issue will be the main subjects that would be discussed.
