Commons Coffee House : The hang-out place
A different kind of coffee is now on show at the Commons Coffee House.
The coffee promotion is on until the April 7 from Monday to Friday between 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

During the promotion Commons offer various kinds of coffee of different tastes. The Promotion offers a coffee and a savoury of guest' choice for Rs. 285/- net. Choice of savoury includes sausage roll, crab roll, grilled liver, prawn sticks, chicken sticks, cheese toast, B.B.Q chillie wings and sticks.

With sofas, tall stool tables, a cozy room with lounging sofas and garden tables, your choice of seating will determine your time at the Commons. The coffee and the food and beverages menu caters to every palate, including vegetarians.

'Commons has a wide market spectrum. From young adults to businessmen and women, expatriates, tourists, intellectuals, creative persons, housewives meeting for coffee and a meal, the commons hold a place for everyone' said a spokesperson from Commons

The café lunch pulls in a business clientele, a quick business lunch or a long quiet one, or even a take-away. Another unique feature is that Commons is opened throughout the day and through out the week, thus enabling customers an opportunity to patronize at any time of the day or week.

'Due to the fact the most restaurants in Sri Lanka have a time limit for lunch the commons has no such barriers. Our business hours are 11.00am-11.00pm on week days and 11.00am-12.00midnight on Fridays and Saturdays
'Our menu is so extensive with more than one hundred and twenty items in the card, that the customer has a great choice of beverages and food to choose from' he added

The sandwich bar serves different varieties of bread with over 15 different fillings and waffles. Health conscious customers have a choice of soups, salads and grilled items. Some of the other main dishes are burgers, hot dogs, choice of pastas, rice dishes, wraps, pies, variety of crab dishes and 'Commons Special Dishes' that are introduced in time to time.

For those who has a sweet tooth there is a choice of desserts. The most popular is milk shakes. They are the favourite among young ones' he said

Commons is now a Wi Fi hot spot enabling the customers to relax, listen to music and browse through the internet.
