Thilanga to follow course on government at Harvard
Former Cricket Board Chief and UNP’s Anuradhapura District organiser Thilanga Sumathipala left for the United States on Friday to join the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Boston, USA.

Mr. Sumathipala will follow a programme on “Driving Government Performance” leadership strategies that produce results. The programme includes how leaders of public institutions are under increased pressure to produce results and improve performance with limited resources and flexibility.

Mr. Sumathipala also attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education Programme “Building New Venture” in April 2005, Boston, USA.
