may be people who work in factories, companies, government institutions
and even streets.

On May 3, 1837, the 'Ceylon Chronicle' newspaper was first published.
The publication of newspapers independent of Government began
after the arrival of Sir Robert Wilmot Horton as Governor in October
1831. Within three months of his arrival, the 'Colombo Journal'
was started under the auspices of the Government.
