SLC elections on June 10?

How is it going to end this time? There is strong speculation that Sri Lanka is going to face another election. However this time it is rumored to be the Sri Lanka Cricket election which is scheduled to be held on June 10.

Minister of Sports Jeewan Kumaratunge took over the reins of the SLC early last year just before they went in for elections in March 2005 and installed an interim committee headed by Jayantha Dharmadasa.

When posed the question to a leading cricket administration personality, who opted to remain anonymous, he said : “Yes there is a strong possibility of this happening on June 10th though there is nothing official is put out. However both sides are getting ready for it”.
