Avurudu in Sydney

A special 2006 Sinhalese New Year celebration was held in Sydney at the ‘Castle Hill Centre' gathering.

This annual festival called ‘Demansala Abhiyasa’ is organized by Sinhala Cultural Forum in Sydney.

There was a special dramatical show in this celebration participated by popular Sri Lankan artists, Jackson Anthony, Bathiya-Santhus, Sajinohara Anthony and Australian artistes Wimalendra Kumari Guruge, Sudu Rathnawali and dancing groups.
