At last a place to dance

After 25 years without a home, the Chitrasena Kalayathanaya will open its new school at 590, Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 5, come January 2007.

The land was donated by former President Chandrika Kumaratunga and with Phase 1 of the construction complete, the school now has basic facilities such as a large dance hall with a wooden floor, two small changing rooms, office, pantry, toilets and utility room for the storage of instruments, costumes, sets etc.

The Chitrasena Kalayathanaya will be accepting new students for enrolment in January on Saturdays from 8 a.m to 12 noon.
