Dalmiya expelled

CHENNAI, India, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Former president Jagmohan Dalmiya was expelled from the Indian cricket board on Saturday for misappropriation of funds and bringing the board into disrepute.

“The resolution was moved by the president (Sharad Pawar) suggesting to expel Mr. Dalmiya and barring him from holding any positions in any body of cricket,” senior board official Rajiv Shukla told television news channel NDTV after the special general meeting in Jaipur.
