‘FASHION & TALENT’ : Talk of the town
Up-to-date Fashion and Talents Management, new organization in the showbiz was launched recently in Colombo.
A book mark on fashion events was launched this day and that was the very first time in the Sri Lankan history, a book mark was launched on fashion items and events.
Each book Mark will are priced at Rs. 20/- and Rs. 10/- .
'All the proceeds will be channelled to the Federation of Physically handicapped who are in need of equipment and self employment including their welfare and upkeep of their families' said Glen Perera , the CEO of Up-to-date Fashion and Talents Management.
'New Fashion of Teenagers 2007', new kind of fashion show will come alive by the end of January, with the world's longest ramp up to 50 metres.
Uptodate Management will be organizing a school band show in early next year too boost the talent of the young ones.
'The winners of this competition will be getting a cash prize for Rs 100,000/=, runners-up will be receive a cash prize for Rs. 50,000/= and all the participating schools will be awarded a cash prize for their school development fund by the Uptodate Management.
'Uptodate Management will be looking for males and female models who are in the age of between 16 to 22. Interested applicants are cordially invited to send their application form with a close-up photograph with the contact telephone number C/o TV Times' he said.
'The selected models are given a training session up to two months under reputed trainers both locally and internationally' he added.
All the costumes and accessories will be provided by the Up-to-date Management. These costumes will be designed by a Sri Lankan fashion designer, who currently resides in the United States; the costumes will be promoted for casual wear, office wear, party wear, swim/beach wear and finally a teenage sporty wear. The costumes will be promoted to both local and International market with a brand ambassador.
