‘Cats’ go Dancing

The ‘ Sixty Years of Cats’, the 60th Anniversary Dance of the Catamarans Sports Club, the prime and exclusive club in Moratuwa will be held at the Water's Edge, Battaramulla on the 11 May.

Catamarans Sports Club with rich traditions of 60 years is celebrating their Diamond Jubilee this year. This gala Dinner Dance will come alive with 'Misty' and 'Super Pink 'n Purple', two of the foremost dance bands in the city.

Hosts of prizes including diamond jewellery from 'Ronique' and air tickets are amongst the many on offer. Catamarans Sports Club fondly referred to as 'Cats' in social circles is one of the controlling clubs of Sri Lanka Cricket. It has an elite, exclusive, up market but a closely knit membership.

‘The ambience of the club depicts camaraderie and brotherhood. The club is filled with fun, laughter and impromptu sing along dished out by the musical membership’ said Priya Peiris one of the ardent members of the Club.
