New album from Sanath

Musician 'Sangeeth Nipun' Dr. Sanath Nandasiri

Renowned vocalist, musician 'Sangeeth Nipun' Dr. Sanath Nandasiri's latest CD ‘Kaala Mekula’ will be launched on 14 June 2007 at 5.00 p.m. at the New Town Hall (next to Mahaweli Auditorium), Greenpath, Colombo 7.

Dr. Nandasiri who is the Dean of the Faculty of Music, University of Visual and Performing Arts is releasing his creation after a lapse of 5 years.

Veteran lyricist Ven. Rambukkana Sidhartha will grace the occasion as the special invitee. Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Vice Chancellor, University of Visual and Performing Arts, Dr. Praneeth Abeysundera, Maestro Sudath Samarasinghe, producer of the CD. Tilak Gunaratne will present their short comments on this occasion.

Dr. Sanath Nandasiri and Malkanthi Nandasiri will render their songs according to the music provided by the SLBC Orchestra conducted by Manoj Peiris.
