Tune into 96.1 and sway to the music of VOI ROX organised by the Interact Club of Mahanama College. VOI ROX, meaning voice of Interact, is a radio transmission that will be carried out over three days. It will be launched between June 15 and 17, 2007.
This project has been the main IU (International Understanding) project of the club since 1996 and this was the first ever radio station presented by any school or club in Sri Lanka.

This project has been acknowledged as the best IU project twice in the Interact district 3220.This year the event will be carried out for the sixth time.

Objectives:
*This project is mainly carried out to build awareness among the Interactors in Sri Lanka as well as abroad through live discussions.
Therefore the organisers hope to have live discussions with seven Interact clubs from countries such as India, Nepal, Peru, USA etc.
The priority is to give the local Interactors an opportunity to communicate with the Interactors abroad and share each others’ cultures, experiences, and thereby to understand each other better.
*There also will be live discussions with the local Interact presidents of schools and incoming, outgoing interact district committees.
*Interactors from other schools will join in as guest announcers to accompany the Interactors of Mahanama College.
*The radio station will also focus on public awareness on AIDS, narcotics and related subject areas.
