Jothi's 20th commemoration event

Evergreen singer H. R. Jothipala's 20 years remembrance will be marked with a mega musical show "Samanmalpiyalle' and 'Swarna Jothi Felicitation' organised by the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.

The event with the participation of singers Gratien Ananda, Anjeline Gunathilake, Nuwan Gunawardena, Ravindra Randeniya, Keerthi Pasquel, Priyankara Ratnayake, Champaka Ramanayake, Kasun Kalhara, Kithsiri Jayasekara and Shanika Wanigasekara will be featured at the musical evening at 6.30 pm on June 24 at the BMICH.

The show is choreographed by Channa Wijewardena, with the glitz and glamour of the dances and performances by popular actors and actresses.

At this event 'Golden Jothi' award will be given to best lyricist, music album, musician, musical band and best male and female singer. The funds collected from the event will be directed to the H. R. Jothipala Fund.
