A school from the Panadura area is facing an order banning them from cricket. The reason .. they had included a player who had produced false certificates to take part in the tournament. But, the school authorities now can not take any action against this student, as he has come out saying that it was the principal and the master-in-charge who had encouraged and helped him to obtain the false certificates.

The funny pool
The girls hockey pool which ran for four days was suddenly scrapped by the authorities. The reason given was that ther were not enough players attending practices. However they say the real reason is that some of the best players who they had earmarked had not attended the practices.
