Annual Prize Giving

The 105th Annual Prize Giving of St. Joseph's College, Colombo 10, was held on February 25, 2007, at the College Auditorium.

The chief guest, Professor Carlo Fonseka, who was a distinguished old Josephian pointed out that to be a 'Perfect Man' he must fulfill good qualities like literate, numerate, computerate, democratic, scientific and humane.

After 54 years he visited his college, so he felt happy and kissed the school floor to show his love for his Alma Mater. It was a sensitive moment for everyone who was present there.

Rev. Fr. Rector. Sylvester Ranasinghe, delivered his annual report and said, “Quality teachers produce quality students." Rev. Fr. Rector also explained the importance of quality education for the future generation.

The vote of thanks was delivered by the Head Prefect. Special guests distributed certificates and awards.
