Festival of choirs

'La Musique Pastorale', a Festival of Choirs organised by St. Lawrence's School. Wellawatte will be held on October 19 at the BMICH at 6.30 p.m.

The festival will feature nine choirs from nine different schools managed by the Good Shepherd Sisters in Sri Lanka. They are Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy, St. Bridget's Convent, Colombo 7, Ave Maria Convent, Negombo, Good Shepherd Convent, Panadura, Good Shepherd Convent, Nayakakande, St. Sebastian's Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Kandana, St. Anthony's Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Mutwal, St Joseph's Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Grandpass and St. Lawrence's School, Wellawatte.

The profits from the festival will go towards the various charity works carried out by the Good Shepherd Sisters.
