Beat is on

Beat has filled the void of a music magazine in Sri Lanka. The news is music to the ears of many music enthusiasts. The magazine features many contemporary local and international artists and music events catering to a young audience, but can be enjoyed by enthusiasts of any age. It comes with material enjoyed by enthusiasts and young artists expecting to gain entry to the music industry.

The first issue features a host of Sri Lanka artists including Bathiya and Santhush, Misty as well as introducing new talent. The lavish inclusion of colourful photographs, attractive design and well written articles adds flavour to the 'beat'.

It has room for improvement in design and content and should do well to become one of the best music magazines in the region, since the producers are eyeing to expand it across borders.

Beat is a brainchild of Entertaintment Media Services (EMS) hoping to cater the increasing popularity in music and the ever growing demand by the public for information on music. The beat team comprises of young writers and entrepreneurs wanting to leave their mark in the face paced information age.
